As a director (and sometimes writer), I'm always energized by a good creative challenge. I think the mark of a truly great director — one who's intelligent, thoughtful, and really knows their stuff — is how they can take those inevitable bumps in the road, those tricky spots in a project, and actually use them as inspiration.
It's all about figuring out how to connect with an audience.
And for me, that's less about chasing the latest fads and more about having good taste and letting those creative puzzles spark fresh ideas.
I've done a ton of different projects over the years, but, my absolute favorite place to be is working with real people on documentary-style stuff. That's where I truly feel I can turn any challenge into something really compelling
